Salary: $150,000 – $200,000 + Bonus

Nter Talent are partnering with a high-growth technology organisation launching a new US business unit focused on advanced power infrastructure for AI Data Centers (AIDC).
As data center rapidly transition toward AI-driven computing, power demand is increasing dramatically. This shift is creating strong demand for next-generation power architectures, including HVDC power distribution and advanced energy solutions, capable of delivering major efficiency, scalability, and cost benefits.
Our client is seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead the commercial launch and growth of this business across the US market. This is a highly visible role focused on winning new logos, building strategic relationships across the hyperscale and data center ecosystem, and scaling a high-performing sales function.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in establishing market presence, driving revenue growth, and building a sales team to support long-term expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Drive New Business Growth
- Lead business development efforts across the AI data center and hyperscale ecosystem.
- Secure new logo customers including hyperscalers, colocation providers, integrators, and infrastructure partners.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to accelerate market penetration across the US.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities to consistently exceed revenue targets.
Build and Scale the Sales Function
- Lead and develop a growing sales organisation, initially managing two Sales Managers.
- Establish scalable sales processes, pipeline management, and forecasting practices.
- Create a high-performance sales culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and growth.
Strategic Market Engagement
- Develop senior relationships with key decision-makers across data center operators, engineering partners, and infrastructure providers.
- Position advanced power technologies as strategic solutions to meet the rapidly increasing power demands of AI infrastructure.
- Represent the organisation at key industry events and conferences within the data center and energy ecosystem.
- Lead complex technical sales cycles involving power infrastructure, data center architecture, and energy optimisation.
- Collaborate closely with product management and engineering teams to align customer needs with product innovation.
- Provide market feedback to help shape future product development and commercial strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Business, or a related field.
- Strong experience selling into the data center, power infrastructure, or energy technology sectors.
- Proven track record of winning new business and building revenue in emerging or high-growth markets.
- Experience leading or building sales teams and developing high-performing commercial organisations.
- Ability to navigate complex enterprise and technical sales cycles.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and executive-level relationship management skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and scale a new market presence.
