
Golf Sponsorship Sales Director

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute customized sponsorship strategies and packages to hit revenue.
- Identify, prospect, and secure new corporate sponsors.
- Manage the sales cycle including lead generation, proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing sponsors to drive renewals and upsells.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful sponsor delivery.
- Prepare presentations, pitch decks, and sponsorship proposals for senior-level decision makers.
- Track pipeline activity and forecast revenue accurately.
- Stay current on golf industry trends, sponsorship valuation, and competitive offerings.
- Represent the organization at tournaments, industry events, and client meetings.
Qualifications & Experience
- 7–10 years of experience in sports sponsorship sales with a deep understanding of the PGA Tour.
- Demonstrated ability to close six- and seven-figure sponsorship deals.
- Strong existing network within golf, sports, media, or corporate marketing.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience working with brands, agencies, and C-suite stakeholders.
- Comfortable with travel and event-based work schedules.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or related field preferred.
