This role supports a book of business that includes a significant construction-focused segment; therefore, prior experience handling construction commercial accounts is required. Essential Functions: Providestechnical support toP&CProducers;specifically in managing client needs, analyzing coverage forms and quotations. AccompaniesP&C Producers on client and prospect meetings as requested. Completes client applications in coordination with P&C Producers;submitsapplications to eligible andappropriate carriers; follows up to ensuretimelyreceipt of quotations,endorsements,and policies. Orders and issues binders, certificates, policies,endorsements,and other related items; verifies accuracy; forwards them to clients withappropriate correspondence with assistance from the Associate Account Consultant. Determinesif direct billing, agency billing, or premium financing isappropriateand invoices accordingly. Prepares summaries of insurance, schedules, and proposals as needed. Processes renewals in coordination withP&C Producers according to agency procedures. Occasionally takes the lead in renewal meetings including strategy determination,marketing,and carrier negotiations. Reviews policy audits; verifies accuracy andfacilitatescorrections, as needed, between client and carrier. Verifies policy and policy change information,facilitatingcorrections when necessary. Processes incoming mail and phone requests, responding promptly and appropriately. Uses agency credit and collection policy in invoicing and pursuing promptpayments; requests cancellations from the carrier according to agency standards. Determinesreasons for cancellation requests; acts to retain accounts whenever possible; notifies P&C Producers. Processes and follows up on cancellation requests to carriers to ensureaccurateandtimelyresolution;maintainsagency equity whenever possible. Identifiesexposure to loss and recommends appropriatecoveragesin coordination withP&C Producers. Prepares premium allocations for clients as needed. Manages servicing for a construction-focused book of business, ensuring familiarity with construction risk exposures, COIs, contract requirements, additional insured endorsements, and related coverage needs. Competencies and Qualifications: Ability to analyze complex insurance situations, needs, and options and communicate these options clearly and concisely. Ability to understand written and oralcommunication andinterpret abstract information. Knowledge of insurance products and usages. Knowledge of insurance markets and placement strategy. Knowledge of insurance rating and underwriting procedures. Ability to carry out complex tasks with both concrete and abstract variables. Strong computer skills withproficiencyin Outlook, Excel, Word, and AMS‑360. Ability to direct others. Ability to work independently and take the lead on all elements of client servicing when necessary. Advanced negotiation and presentation skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage tight deadlines. Experience with construction industry clients is required, including understanding of relevant coverages, endorsements, and compliance requirements. Must have a valid CA Property & Casualty License. This range represents the estimated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to performance, location, and experience.
