The Inside Sales Intern will provide administrative, organizational, and operational support to the Sales Team and Inside Sales Support staff. This role is designed to give hands‑on experience in sales operations, customer support, CRM management, and cross‑functional coordination. The intern will assist with maintaining accurate records, preparing sales materials, supporting customer communications, and helping ensure the sales team operates efficiently while learning the foundations of business-to-business sales in a professional environment. A. Key Responsibilities

Assist with scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating communications for the sales team. Support the creation and preparation of sales documents, presentations, and reports. Help maintain accurate and updated information within CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce). Assist in responding to customer inquiries, providing general product or service information, and routing messages to the appropriate sales representative. Support the processing of quotes, sales orders, and other sales-related documentation. Track order statuses and assist with follow‑ups to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Participate in lead‑generation activities, including outreach follow‑ups and data entry. Help gather and organize sales data for reporting and decision‑making purposes. Conduct basic research on market trends, customer segments, and competitor activities as needed. Collaborate with internal departments (such as operations or customer service) to resolve issues or gather information. Assist with logistics for team meetings, training sessions, and other internal events. Provide general administrative support to the Inside Sales Support team. B. Qualifications

Required:

Pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Communications, or a related field. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills. Willingness to learn CRM systems such as Salesforce. Strong interest in sales operations or business development.

Preferred:

Prior internship or school project experience in customer service, sales, or administrative support. Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce or similar). Experience conducting online research or compiling reports. Basic understanding of sales cycle concepts.
