Regional Sales Manager in the Western Virginia/Roanoke area.

Key Responsibilities

Manages and oversees day‑to‑day sales & service activity in the territory, schedules and prioritizes time for effective territory coverage

Creates detailed business plans to meet and exceed goals, quotas and objectives of the company on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis

Identifies, qualifies and cultivates new sales opportunities and effectively manages leads

Responds to complaints and resolves issues aiming to meet customer satisfaction

Develops and maintains customer relationships by initiating and remaining in frequent contact, being an available resource for customers

Maintains comprehensive and effective strategic call plans that drive positive sales results

Actively utilizes CRM tool to manage contacts, leads, opportunities and outcomes

Proactively cultivates competitive opportunities that result in converted business

Defends competitive threats and minimizes losses

Provides presentations and demonstrations to customers on application and use of products using effective communication and sales techniques

Provides mentorship and sales guidance to a team of Associate Sales Representatives

Demonstrates efficient use of company resources such as time, money, materials and people to produce desired results

Acquires a basic understanding of the field to include regulatory compliance issues and adheres to these guidelines

Demonstrates a commitment to maintaining business culture, code of conduct, compliance, policies and procedures

Communicates effectively, behaves professionally in stressful situations, works independently and without supervision, establishes rapport, and exercises professional judgment in all situations

Qualifications Education

Associate's Degree or equivalent industry experience required

Experience

Minimum of 3 years outside sales experience required (business‑to‑business, new business development)

1 year of experience in Orthopedic Sales and knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment strongly preferred

Experience in medical sales strongly preferred

Knowledge of healthcare insurance and third‑party reimbursement preferred

License and Certification

Must have valid driver's license, dependable vehicle, safe driving record, and current automobile insurance

May be required to acquire various immunizations, in order to comply with medical facility credentialing standards.

Skills

Proficient/Working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point) and Google Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Docs)

Strong written communication skills

Working knowledge of CRM tools

Technical competence includes the ability to learn new software and systems.

Travel and Schedule

Requires substantial driving in territory

May include variable start/end times outside of the company's standard business hours of 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. On‑call hours may be required which may include nights and weekends.
