The Senior Anaplan Solution Architect is key in collaborating with user groups to tackle business challenges through innovative technology solutions. This role involves delivering strategic guidance to functional teams and demands extensive technical expertise.
As a crucial partner for Finance and HR, the Senior Anaplan Solution Architect will optimize Anaplan to align with our enterprise architecture, data governance, and strategic planning efforts. You will convert business requirements into effective technical solutions and ensure seamless integration of various hardware and software systems. In this self-directed role, you will address complex issues related to your responsibilities with minimal oversight.
Obtaining a Master Anaplan certification is highly recommended!
Key Responsibilities
Lead the comprehensive Anaplan solution design within Workforce Planning and Management domains.
Establish a strategic architectural vision and set standards for Anaplan usage across the organization.
Act as a subject matter expert and advisor for complex, enterprise-level Anaplan projects and integrations.
Provide guidance and mentorship to team members in modeling frameworks, governance, and industry best practices.
Participate in strategic planning, optimize the platform, and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture initiatives.
Direct the development and implementation of Anaplan modules for:
Finance : Headcount cost modeling, compensation planning, forecasting, scenario analysis.
HR : Position management, hiring strategies, attrition modeling, workforce analytics.
Manage integration strategies with enterprise systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle, Snowflake) to guarantee smooth data transitions.
Serve as a subject matter authority on Anaplan security models, user roles, and access controls across various domains.
Mentor cross-functional teams in model development, testing, and deployment practices.
Create and maintain reporting and dashboard solutions utilizing Anaplan and compatible tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Advise Finance and HR leadership to shape our enterprise planning roadmap effectively.
Strategic & Technical Leadership
Bridge IT, Finance, and HR to ensure planning tools support the business strategy.
Contribute to the technology roadmap by evaluating emerging trends in workforce planning and EPM platforms.
Promote continuous improvement by pinpointing inefficiencies and encouraging innovation in planning processes.
Ensure adherence to data privacy, security, and governance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).
Lead initiatives to drive the adoption of new planning tools and capabilities.

Required Qualifications
Over 10 years of experience with Anaplan, including model building, architecture, ALM, and security configurations.
Background supporting Finance and HR in planning or analytical contexts.
Strong understanding of financial planning, workforce management, and organizational design.
Familiarity with systems such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, and Snowflake.
Experience in using integration tools (e.g., Oracle OIC, Informatica, MuleSoft, Anaplan Connect, APIs).
Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Expertise in predictive modeling technologies (e.g., Python, R, AzureML).
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
Anaplan Solution Architect or Master Anaplanner certification.
Experience with other EPM platforms (e.g., Oracle PBCS, Oracle EPM, Adaptive Insights, SAP BPC).
A background in enterprise architecture, data strategy, or IT business analysis.
Expertise in agile environments and managing product backlogs.

Home Office Requirements
High-speed DSL or cable modem required for your home office. Residents working in California will have internet expenses reimbursed.
A minimum standard speed of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is necessary.
Satellite and wireless internet service are not suitable for this position.
A dedicated workspace free from distractions is essential to protect member PHI/HIPAA information.
This role is remote but may require occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings.
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated salary range for this position is $172,200 - $236,900 annually, depending on skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a performance-based bonus incentive plan.
