About the Role
The Senior Business Analyst of Analytics & Performance Management plays a key role in driving operational excellence across NextEra Energy Resources’ solar operations. You’ll support analytics, reporting, and performance optimization for core operational functions—including billing, transaction management, credit and collections, call center operations, and O&M service providers. This role blends hands‑on analytical work with strategic oversight. You’ll write SQL/Python queries, build PowerBI dashboards, lead deep‑dive analyses, manage complex cross‑functional projects, support system migrations and M&A activity, and present insights directly to senior leadership.
What You’ll Do
Develop and maintain reporting, dashboards, and SQL/Python queries to monitor operational performance
Conduct deep‑dive analyses to identify trends, gaps, and optimization opportunities
Build and manage KPI frameworks, performance tracking, and executive‑level reporting
Lead complex, cross‑functional projects with minimal direction, ensuring timely and cost‑effective delivery
Support system migrations, integrations, and M&A initiatives
Provide analytical support for billing, credit and collections, call center operations, and vendor partners
Manage vendor relationships, cost oversight, and budget planning
Drive revenue management for manual billing components and pass‑through products
Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
Support operational planning, including budget vs. actuals reporting and forecasting
What You Bring
Strong SQL skills and experience building PowerBI dashboards
Ability to manage multiple complex projects independently
Experience analyzing operational data and presenting insights to senior leadership
Comfort working cross‑functionally with internal teams and external vendors
A proactive, analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving skills
High attention to detail, strong organization, and comfort in fast‑paced environments
Expertise in Excel/Power Query, Python, and data visualization tools
Job Overview Job Duties & Responsibilities
Conducts analyses and prepares reports that provide operational and/or technical support to business operations
Conducts quantitative and qualitative research to support small to medium special projects
Assists with process design and modification for continuous business improvement
Performs other job‑related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
Experience: 4+ years
