Responsibilities of the Collections Specialist:
Manage a portfolio of past-due consumer accounts with professionalism and accuracy.
Conduct outbound collection calls and respond to inbound inquiries.
Use skip-tracing tools and creative problem-solving to locate hard-to-reach customers.
Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements in line with company policies.
Document all account activity thoroughly in the system.
Collaborate with team members and management to achieve collection goals.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local collection laws.
Preferred Qualifications for the Collections Specialist:
Proven experience in consumer collections (required).
Knowledge and practical experience with skip tracing methods (required).
