Job Description The contractors in this role will focus on a single primary task: organizing and processing loan documents. The business requires support in converting and scanning documents for more than 500,000 loans into the appropriate physical and digital filing systems.

Overview This position is responsible for accurately processing, scanning, and documenting loan files into internal systems. The role requires strong attention to detail, consistency, and accuracy, with an emphasis on proper scanning procedures, documentation standards, and inventory management.

Day-to-Day Duties: “Pouch to Online Inventory to Folder Conversion”

Retrieve pouches that contain approximately 50 mortgage loan documents each.

Scan documents from each pouch into the online system.

Transfer and organize the scanned documents into new physical folders.

Use a handheld scanner to capture barcodes and enter data into Excel.

Upload required comment codes and file information into the MSP system.

Ensure the creation of complete and accurate online inventory records.

Key Responsibilities

Transfer loan documents from pouches into organized physical folders (approx. 50 loans per pouch).

Scan and barcode all documents into designated internal systems.

Upload files and required comment codes into the MSP software platform.

Maintain accurate inventory tracking using Excel spreadsheets.

Verify that all documents are properly scanned, indexed, and documented.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vienna, VA. Workplace Type: This is a fully onsite position in Vienna, VA.

Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.75 - $19.75/hr.
