About the Role A Senior Art Director is responsible for conception and design of integrated campaigns, managing the creative process, and ensuring all work is strategically and creatively on point (and on brief). Ensures all projects are completed on time and within budget. They will work with the Creative Director to maintain consistent and high-quality relationships with brand clients, and will support in managing junior and mid-level creative staff.

What You’ll Do

Work independently as well as with a writer counterpart to concept and execute best in class creative campaigns and design work covering all common deliverable types (digital, print, animation and video).

Create compelling presentation documents that communicate your ideas in a way others can understand, get excited about and present to others.

Maintain organized files and archiving habits that allow you to collaborate with others in a very efficient way.

Inspire others with reference material that communicates a vision.

Work well with others in a tight-knit but global company.

Handle multiple projects simultaneously while working under tight deadlines.

Manage two direct reports with the support of your Creative Director.

Demonstrate an understanding of the realities of marketing a regulated product(s).

What You’ll Bring

Minimum of 6 years working as an Art Director for an agency or in-house creative position.

You have an online portfolio that demonstrates high design standards and a refined aesthetic.

Years of experience working in conceptual development of retail programming.

Regulated industry experience is preferred.

Leadership experience where delegation was necessary to succeed.

You are motivated and good at time management.

Advanced in the Adobe Creative suite.

Experienced in designing packaging.

Understand brand and retail marketing nuances.

Experience in Figma and other common tools of the trade (Project Mgmt tools).

Able to handle pivots to creative direction in a positive and team player way.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in regulated industries (alcohol, cannabis, pharma, tobacco).

Familiarity with retail environments (Target-scale, Trader Joe’s).
