The

Senior

Communications

Specialist

will serve as the primary lead for marketing events and tradeshows, public relations efforts, IEWC’s social media presence, cooperative marketing programs, and global employee engagement activities. They will also support other marketing and communications initiatives.

This role is highly collaborative and execution-focused, supporting strategic marketing initiatives that align with business objectives across OEM, Infrastructure, and Controls. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, creative, organized, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong cross-functional relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Tradeshows and Marketing Events

Serve as primary lead for all tradeshows and major marketing events.

Manage budgets, logistics, event coordination, and lead capture processes.

Manage giveaways, collateral, signage, and booth displays.

Cooperative Marketing Program

Coordinate cooperative marketing efforts with suppliers.

Partner with suppliers and internal teams to execute lead-nurturing and lead-capturing campaigns.

Develop content and assets for emails, social posts, ads, and website placements.

Own IEWC’s global social media presence across platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.).

Execute content strategies aligned with business objectives, supplier partnerships, and strategic markets.

Ensure employee engagement activities from all global locations are represented.

Public Relations & Brand Visibility

Lead public relations efforts, coordinate media outreach, and identify earned media opportunities.

Establish and manage relationships with external media partners and industry publications.

Develop messaging aligned with IEWC’s strategic priorities and growth markets.

Support Roles

Assist with visual asset creation and marketing collateral.

Support digital team on website updates and marketing automation initiatives.

Manage swag inventory and distribution.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.

5+ years of marketing experience preferred.

Experience leading tradeshows and corporate events.

Experience in public relations and managing corporate social media accounts.

Experience creating visual assets using design tools (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and others).

Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce.com, etc.).

Strong writing and editing skills.

Strong project management and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal communication skills (must have executive presence).
