Job Description
Job Summary
The Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the development and execution of marketing, social media, and public relations initiatives aligned with The Ballantyne’s business objectives. This position is responsible for managing content, maintaining brand standards, and supporting revenue-driven campaigns across digital and on-property channels.
Working closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing, this role collaborates with internal departments and external partners to deliver impactful campaigns that drive guest engagement, brand awareness, and revenue growth.
Job Duties
Support the development and execution of the annual marketing, social media, and communications plan
Execute marketing campaigns across multiple channels including email, website, social media, and digital platforms
Create and manage engaging content (copy, visuals, video) aligned with brand standards
Maintain and ensure consistency of visual identity across all channels, including on-property collateral and digital assets
Manage hotel presence and content accuracy across third-party platforms (OTAs, Cvent, WeddingWire, The Knot, etc.)
Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Operations, F&B, Spa) to support marketing initiatives and promotions
Coordinate with external partners including agencies, printers, and CRM vendors to ensure timely and on-budget project delivery
Assist in developing marketing briefs and campaign strategies that align with business goals
Monitor online reputation (Tripadvisor, OTAs, social media) and support response strategies and sentiment tracking
Analyze campaign performance and digital metrics; provide insights and recommendations for optimization
Support media visits, photo shoots, and on-site activations
Manage marketing assets including photo libraries, collateral, and promotional materials
Assist with donation requests and promotional giveaway inventory
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred
1–3 years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, advertising, or public relations
Hospitality experience strongly preferred
Skills and Abilities
Strong writing and content creation skills (digital, web, and social)
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Proficiency in social media platforms, email marketing tools, and content management systems preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks
Ability to lift and carry up to 10 lbs as needed
