Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist in Commercial Banking Operations / Wholesale Lending Operations as part of Commercial Banking.\nIn this role, you will:\nLead a variety of servicing activities for the complex commercial products\nServe as primary liaison and work collaboratively with Sales, Legal, Control and Risk, Technology, and various Operations and company teams as necessary to progress customer-focused needs\nReview and negotiate complex loan servicing transactions, evaluate risks, and devise strategies to mitigate risks and identify procedural modifications\nServe as an escalation point in the resolution of client issues\nConduct quality reviews and monitor key performance metrics as related to efficiencies and effective processes\nCoordinate servicing activities to resolve open customer issues, loan and regulatory diligence and on-going portfolio maintenance; interact with internal and external customers\nEvaluate and upload data into the systems of record\nResearch complex business and operational decisions\nEnsure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements\nStrategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals; may contribute to strategic initiatives and projects\nMake decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence and lead broader work team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives\nRequired Qualifications:\n5+ years of Commercial Loan Servicing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education\nDesired Qualifications:\n4+ years of asset-based lending experience\n2+ years of accounting or finance experience\nCommercial lending experience\nAbility to review and interpret complex wholesale commercial loan documents\nIntermediate Microsoft Office skills\nAbility to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information\nStrong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy\nExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills\nAbility to exercise independent judgment to identify and resolve problems\nStrong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills\nJob Expectations:\nThis position offers a hybrid work schedule at the location listed\nThis position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship\nThis position is not eligible for relocation\nProvide direct customer service and acts as primary servicing contact for the loan\nSupport our internal and external clients / partners (Relationship Managers, Underwriters, Collateral team etc.)\nPerform complex administrative and customer support tasks by managing daily schedules\nRecommends process or policy improvements to enhance customer satisfaction\nReview moderately complex loan servicing documentation language, book and fund new loans and modifications, including reviewing of input using system of record LUCAS (Loan Underwriting Collateral Analysis System)\nProvide subject matter expertise and interpretation of procedures to less experienced individuals\nEscalates complaints as needed to management\nProvide training and guidance to less experienced loan servicing representatives\nCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals\nProcess assigned Tranche setups using the appropriate base rate and tenure\nProcess required interest and fee entries and adjustments\nProcess participation settlements\nParticipate in the LUCAS Ops enhancement meetings and UAT / Regression testing (As needed)\nPosting End Date: 13 Feb 2026\nWells Fargo is an equal opportunity employer.
