Enterprise Software Sales Director – AI Platform (Insurance Sector)
Remote role – must be based in Seattle, Portland, or the broader Pacific Northwest.
We are partnering with a high-growth AI-native software company that is transforming how insurers make underwriting and portfolio decisions. Backed by a significant funding round and already working with major insurance organisations, the business is entering a new phase of growth and expanding its enterprise sales team.
This role is ideal for a true enterprise hunter with a proven track record of closing large, transformational software deals and building new markets from the ground up.
What you’ll do
- Own your territory as your business — from prospecting through to closing complex, enterprise-level deals.
- Drive net-new revenue by selling a genuinely innovative AI-driven platform into large and mid-sized insurance organisations.
- Lead sophisticated, multi-threaded sales cycles engaging C-suite executives and senior stakeholders across underwriting, operations, and technology.
- Position a transformational platform capable of delivering measurable business outcomes, not just incremental improvements.
- Develop opportunities from greenfield through to enterprise adoption across complex organisations.
- Partner closely with product, delivery, and customer teams to shape strategy and accelerate growth.
What we’re looking for
- Proven track record closing large enterprise software deals ($1M+ ACV).
- Strong hunter mentality with a history of generating and closing net-new business.
- Experience running complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with senior executives.
- Ability to sell transformational platforms and strategic outcomes, not just features or point solutions.
- Experience selling into insurance organisations is highly desirable, but we are equally interested in top enterprise sellers who have closed large transformation deals into complex enterprises.
- Familiarity with enterprise sales frameworks such as MEDDIC, Challenger, or similar.
- Experience in fast-growth software businesses is a plus.
