We’re partnering with a mid-size production homebuilder seeking a strategic, results-driven New Homes Sales Director to lead sales operations across multiple communities in the Northeast.

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving revenue, optimizing community performance, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate is an inspiring leader and coach who can translate strategy into execution and partner effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

What You’ll Do

Sales Strategy & Performance

  • Develop and execute sales strategies across active communities
  • Manage pricing, incentives, model releases, and inventory flow
  • Analyze market trends, absorption rates, and competitive activity

Leadership & Team Development

  • Recruit, mentor, and develop on-site sales leaders and consultants
  • Set clear KPIs, performance expectations, and accountability standards
  • Lead coaching sessions, performance reviews, and sales meetings
  • Champion a customer-first sales culture from lead to close
  • Ensure CRM adoption, accurate reporting, and process compliance
  • Resolve escalated customer issues professionally and efficiently

Marketing & Community Launches

  • Partner with marketing on community launches, campaigns, and events
  • Provide input on product positioning, merchandising, and model presentation

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Align sales goals with construction, land, and operations teams
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and fair housing standards
  • Deliver sales forecasts, performance reports, and revenue tracking
  • Manage sales budgets, bonus plans, and incentive programs

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of new home sales experience (production builder preferred)
  • 3+ years of sales leadership with proven results
  • Strong knowledge of CRM systems, pricing strategy, and contract negotiation
  • Data-driven, strategic thinker with strong execution skills

Preferred

  • Experience with builder-specific CRM and inventory tools
  • Active real estate license or ability to obtain one
