Role Overview

We are seeking two experienced, results-driven Sales Directors – one for the Residential market and one for the C&I (Commercial & Industrial) segment – to lead market expansion and revenue growth. Each candidate must bring a proven track record in the energy storage industry (minimum 3 years), ideally with existing customer relationships or partner channels that can translate into near-term sales growth.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive revenue targets for your segment (Residential / C&I).
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, channel development, and account acquisition plans.
  • Cultivate, close, and expand strategic client relationships (installers, developers, EPCs, distributors).
  • Represent Kowint at industry events, trade shows, and customer presentations.
  • Build pipeline visibility using CRM tools; forecast accurately and provide market insights.
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams to align customer solutions.
  • Provide market feedback on trends, pricing dynamics, and competitive positioning.
  • Mentor junior sales reps as needed; help build the future commercial team.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of direct experience in residential HESS (Home Energy Storage Systems) OR C&I storage solutions.
  • Demonstrated success selling batteries, hybrid inverters, or full energy storage solutions.
  • Deep understanding of the North American energy storage market, policy landscape, and buyer personas.
  • Strong existing customer relationships preferred – EPCs, solar installers, developers, commercial end-users.
  • Excellent negotiation and consultative sales skills.
  • Proficient in CRM systems (ZOHO) and P&L literacy.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to DFW metro area, with ability to work in-office 2–3 days/week (neigoiable).

Preferred Attributes

  • Existing book of business or near-term client opportunities.
  • Experience working with C&I project developers, commercial real estate clients, or MUSH market.
  • Understanding of energy storage system sizing, interconnection, and permitting processes.
  • Self-starter with entrepreneurial drive in a fast-paced, high-growth company.
  • Ability to thrive in a cross-cultural, international environment.
