Job Description

The Sales Manager is a player‑coach leadership role responsible for driving new business development while professionalizing the company's existing sales and design operations. This senior leadership role drives revenue, accountability, and team performance within the company's cabinet and bath division, while also providing oversight and support to the Trim Sales function. The Sales Manager serves as the primary sales leader for builder relationships, ensuring consistent execution, strong pipeline management, and alignment with company standards for quality, service, and reliability.

The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of kitchen and bath cabinetry, construction‑driven project flow, and relationship‑based business development within the residential building market. While this role is primarily focused on leadership and pipeline oversight, the Sales Manager must be capable of stepping into active sales or design support when necessary to ensure continuity for clients and builders.

  • Lead and develop overall sales strategy
  • Manage 6 designers
  • Establish structured growth plan for:
    • Raleigh market
    • Coastal NC expansion
  • Occasionally step into cabinet design support when needed
  • Drive revenue growth while protecting brand and culture

Qualifications

  • Proven sales leader who has scaled a $2M+ business
  • 7‑10 years of experience in cabinetry, kitchen & bath design, or construction‑related sales leadership
  • Proven success selling to residential builders in a professional, relationship‑driven environment
  • Strong understanding of kitchen and bath design principles, cabinetry construction, and jobsite flow
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop a sales‑focused team
  • High level of organization, follow‑through, and accountability
  • Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, custom‑build environment with shifting timelines

Salary
