The company
This is a European tracker manufacturer with serious global credentials and a product that stands out in a crowded market. Despite having a lean US regional team, they have been outperforming the established American tracker names and have just crossed 2 GW in signed US contracts. The technology is German-engineered, the commercial momentum is real, and the US market is their biggest growth opportunity right now.
The role
As Sales Director you will own the US commercial function from top to bottom. That means developing and executing sales strategy, leading and developing a high-performing team, and acting as the senior relationship owner with key customers and partners across the country. You will have full ownership of pipeline, KPIs, and revenue targets, and you will work closely with the global executive team to ensure the US operation scales in line with the wider business ambitions.
This is not a role for someone looking to manage the status quo. They want a commercial leader who will build predictability, drive growth, and help establish this business as a dominant force in the US market.
What you'll need
It is essential that you are coming from a sales leadership role in utility-scale solar. Direct tracker experience is ideal, but a similarly complex, construction or project-focused sell will be considered. You will need a genuine US market network, proven leadership credentials, and the strategic and commercial mindset to match the ambition of the business.
Practicalities
Target total compensation is circa $250,000. Location is flexible, Houston or Phoenix offices but remote / hybrid set up is fine also.
