Personal Care CDMO | Strategic Growth Role

Our client is a well-established, full-service Personal Care CDMO specialising in the development and manufacturing of personal care products. Partnering with leading brands, retailers and emerging businesses, they offer end-to-end capabilities from formulation and product development through to manufacturing and scale-up.

The Opportunity

The Sales Director will drive revenue growth, profitability and market share by developing and executing strategic commercial initiatives.

This role will:

  • Lead new business acquisition
  • Strengthen and expand existing client relationships
  • Align commercial strategy with operations and R&D
  • Drive performance against revenue and margin targets

This is a high-impact leadership position suited to someone commercially driven, analytical and experienced within personal care manufacturing or contract manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned to corporate objectives
  • Generate new revenue and improve profitability across existing and new accounts
  • Collaborate closely with account management and operations to ensure pricing accuracy and seamless execution
  • Support resolution of commercial escalations where required
  • Manage sales forecasting, pipeline reporting and performance metrics
  • Represent the business at industry events and trade exhibitions
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, R&D and Product Development to align offerings with client needs
  • Lead client presentations, proposals and contract negotiations
  • Ensure new projects meet cost, margin, quality and delivery expectations
  • Mentor and develop members of the commercial team
  • Monitor market trends and competitive landscape

Ideal Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field (preferred)
  • 4–6+ years progressive sales leadership experience within personal care, beauty or contract manufacturing
  • Proven track record of delivering revenue growth and margin improvement
  • Strong pricing, negotiation and margin management capability
  • Experience working cross-functionally with operations and technical teams
  • Highly strategic, commercially astute and relationship-driven
