Director, Fundraising/Salesforce Operations - $110K-$120K

Our client, an incredible mission-driven organization, is seeking an experienced and sharp Director of Development Operations (Fundraising Database, Salesforce) to manage the donor CRM system in their Bethesda office!

Responsibilities

  • Manage the donor database (Salesforce) to build and refine processes for gift entry, acknowledgments, donor agreements, prospect research, and other tracking.
  • Maintain varying records in Salesforce, including proposals, pledges, gifts, sponsorships, and any other required deliverables.
  • Collaborate across the organization on fundraising initiatives tied to donor activity, the annual fundraising budget, and other related expenses.
  • Track and maintain accurate projections of revenue and the status of different proposals, providing regular reports to support the overall fundraising strategy.
  • Create dashboards and reports on fundraising activities and upcoming deadlines.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of nonprofit database management and a bachelor's degree are required.
  • Hands‑on experience in managing Salesforce as a donor database is required.
  • Ability to multi‑task and prioritize are key.
  • Phenomenal written and verbal communication skills with a passion for employee engagement and customer service.
  • Strong understanding of HR‑related laws and compliance.
  • Excellent organizational skills.

About the Role

  • Salary range of $110K-$120K, DOE.
