Job Description

The US Equity Team provides investment management capabilities to institutional and retail clients based on proprietary fundamental and quantitative research. The US Equity Fundamental Research team is looking for a senior investment professional to lead our research and investments in the Software sector and serve as the Research Analyst. Our team provides investment recommendations for approximately $450B in assets under management.

Responsibilities

  • Research companies and industries within the coverage universe.
  • Make relative valuation comparisons and investment recommendations to portfolio managers.
  • Participate in managing regional and global analyst funds.
  • Work and communicate with a global network of JPMAM analysts and portfolio managers.
  • Mentor and develop a junior-level research analyst.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills

  • At least ten years of buy‑side experience analyzing stocks in the Software industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and securities valuations.
  • Ability to deliver clear and concise investment recommendations under significant uncertainty.
  • Ability to distinguish between essential and nonessential information.
  • Strong spreadsheet modeling skills.
  • Excellent oral and written skills; able to work effectively with colleagues globally.
