A well-established industrial manufacturer is looking for a strategic and operationally savvy Finance Director to oversee all financial functions for a global product division. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for someone with a passion for building scalable finance teams and enabling growth through data-driven decision making. You’ll be the go-to advisor for business and segment leadership—managing financial reporting, planning, forecasting, and strategic investment decisions across multiple manufacturing locations and regions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all core finance areas including planning & forecasting, asset management, costing, and business analysis
• Serve as a key business partner to division and segment executives—driving alignment on financial strategy, goals, and performance
• Interpret and communicate financial performance across global operations, identifying opportunities to improve margins and cash flow
• Oversee timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, budgets, and strategic plans
• Guide investment decisions through capital justification, market analysis, and product line profitability review
• Lead internal controls, compliance (including SOX), and process improvements in reporting and systems
• Present financial data and recommendations to senior leadership and external stakeholders
• Develop and mentor a high-performing finance team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred)
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience, with strong exposure to manufacturing operations
• 5+ years of people leadership experience
• Deep understanding of US GAAP, internal controls, and financial systems (SAP and Excel preferred)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence at all levels
