Director of Finance

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Director of Finance to lead financial modeling and strategic analysis for its fast-growing PE-backed data center business. The ideal candidate will have a strong investment banking or private equity background with proven experience in building and managing three-statement financial models to support decision-making across capital investments, financing, M&A, and long-term growth initiatives.
This role is highly visible, partnering with senior leadership and investors to shape financial strategy, optimize capital structure, and evaluate large-scale infrastructure investments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred
- 6+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or business finance
- Investment Banking or Private Equity experience strongly preferred (must have experience fully owning/operating full 3-statement model)
- Must have unit level economic modeling experience
- SaaS business modeling experience strongly preferred
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and presentation skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP), and BI tools
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and support executive decision-making
