A leading nonprofit with programs both domestic and abroad is seeking an experienced Director of Accounting to oversee global project accounting and billing.
The Opportunity
- Lead revenue, billing, and project accounting functions
- Oversee financial system administration and process improvements
- Partner with global teams
- Drive accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence across complex donor-funded projects
- Manage and mentor a distributed finance team
- High visibility with senior leadership and program stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years in nonprofit/NGO accounting
- Costpoint experience strongly preferred
- Background supporting international projects or regional offices
- Strong communication skills and executive presence
- Ability to lead with firmness, clarity, and cultural sensitivity
