We are looking for a Director of SEC Reporting to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of all SEC filings, including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, and 8-Ks
• Ensure that all filings are accurate and in compliance with SEC rules and regulations
• Manage the SEC reporting team, providing guidance, training, and support as needed
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with SEC regulations
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure accurate and timely completion of audits and reviews
• Monitor and analyze changes in SEC reporting requirements and ensure that the company is prepared to comply with new regulations
• Work with other departments, including finance, legal, and investor relations, to provide accurate and timely information for SEC filings
• Review and interpret financial statements and disclosures for compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required; CPA preferred
• 10+ years of experience in SEC reporting, accounting, or auditing required
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
• Strong leadership and management skills with experience in managing a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple priorities
