$135,000.00/yr - $165,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
- Overseeing capital activity such as contributions and distributions
- Preparing periodic valuations and financial reports
- Calculating fees and allocating profits/losses
- Designing and maintaining waterfall models
- Generating performance metrics, including internal rate of return (IRR)
- Handling custom reporting requests from clients and investors
- Acting as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring consistent service delivery
- Maintaining a robust control environment for accounting operations
- Leading and mentoring a team of up to 10 professionals
- Addressing complex accounting issues escalated by junior staff
- Enhancing operational workflows and internal procedures
- Coordinating audit processes and ensuring timely completion
- Managing onboarding for new clients and transitions
- Recruiting, training, and evaluating team members
- Collaborating effectively with internal departments and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years in fund accounting, preferably within private equity or hedge fund administration
- At least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA) is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Proven ability to manage and develop teams
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
- Experience with fund accounting systems (e.g., Investran) is highly desirable
- Client-focused with strong relationship management skills
