SR DIRECTOR OF FOOD AND NUTRITION - CHARLOTTE, NC

Job Summary

The Sr. Director of Dining Services will oversee day‑to‑day foodservice operations, lead a team of employees, manage client relationships, ensure profitability, and develop talent. The position is located in Charlotte, NC and requires living in the area.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the department in accordance with the approved budget while maximizing value for the client.
• Ensure that the food offered to the client is of superior quality.
• Direct and conduct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs.
• Maintain excellent relationships with clients and other departments within the community.
• Promote the professional growth and development of the entire team.
• Foster strong inter‑departmental relations and integrate the dining service department with the facility plan of operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of additional experience.
• Minimum of five years of proven leadership experience.
• Two to four years of direct foodservice operational management experience with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control.
• Strong knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
• Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract‑managed service experience is desirable.
• ServSafe® certification is a plus.
• Must be forward thinking, proactive, and the face of the company.
