Regional Maintenance Director

Salary ranges from:

$150,000 - $200,000

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • 5 – 10 years’ of regional maintenance experience managing multiple shops throughout various markets
  • Strong technical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in and develop a team atmosphere.
  • Experience and understanding of working within a budget.
  • Strong knowledge of Class 8 truck & trailer repair.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office.
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational skills

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • The Regional Maintenance Director will be responsible for the effectiveness of the company’s field maintenance, including the ongoing development, rollout and oversight of the maintenance processes, standards, systems and training.
  • Identify and evaluate trends on any significant equipment breakdowns and develop countermeasures to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Oversee compliance in maintaining region's maintenance parts, supplies, and tire inventories. Instructs Regional Maintenance Managers in goal achievements, staff productivity and compliance audits.
  • Continuous improvement for company equipment downtimes and preventative maintenance standards.
  • Guide and monitor Local and Regional Management with hiring, training, and development of shop management staff.
  • Working hand and hand with leadership in operations to meet company objectives.
  • Enforce & practice all company safety procedures to ensure a safe environment by following all D.O.T. and OSHA safety standards.
