Job Description

As part of the Pricing and Analytics team within Banking and Cash Solutions, you will direct product pricing, ongoing rate-setting, data modeling, product analysis, and ad hoc reporting. You will lead the analytics for the product pricing process and ensure accurate information is provided for business decision-making. The pricing team is responsible for driving revenue, margin, and sales through the delivery of optimized pricing guidance.

  1. Direct development and refinement of product pricing, profitability and financial models for Cash and Deposit Products using analytical and business expertise, including collecting, evaluating, and analyzing pricing-related internal and external data and developing pricing models based upon current business, economic and market dynamics.
  2. Provide guidance to staff to apply the results of financial models to business decisions such as pricing strategies, investment strategies, and product design. Provide oversight for rate implementation and accuracy validation for weekly rate-setting processes.
  3. Provide fast turnaround product analysis through self and staff in support of business decisions and project activities for Cash Products.
  4. Develop subject matter expertise in staff with respect to data sources as well as product features and benefits (e.g., interest crediting, surrender penalties, advisor compensation, etc.).
  5. Develop and deepen relationships with Finance, Investments, Treasury, and Risk Management to create and review model assumptions and output that impacts business decisions.
  6. Design executive communications that synthesize data to form a story to contrast or compare to industry or historical business trends.
  7. Create or direct staff to create presentation decks including clear data summaries and insights, including the creation of graphics to illustrate key findings. Find opportunities to develop these skills in staff.
  8. Oversee the preparation of sweep daily balance reports, monthly revenue validation, and other ad-hoc data and analysis requests as needed to support management decision-making.
  9. Lead staff to create and continually enhance product reporting including routine and ad-hoc reports, optimize product KPI summary reports using Excel or other tools, and develop data reporting structures and formats to interrogate available account and financial data.
  10. Audit existing pricing processes to ensure all risk and control processes are met. Maintain a strong control environment through oversight of financial controls.
  11. Occasionally provide staff to participate in product implementation efforts and on project teams as product subject matter expert, including test planning and execution. Lead staff to review product materials such as prospectuses, marketing materials, webpages, etc., for accuracy and completeness.
  12. Lead and develop junior team members to perform key analyses, BAU and advanced analytics.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years' relevant experience, with expertise in pricing, reporting and business analysis for Cash and Bank Deposit products
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years leading staff in pricing and analytical roles
  • Proven analytical, quantitative & problem-solving skills, especially strong financial product modeling skills
  • Ability to communicate or train staff to communicate complex financial metrics and issues in concise written and oral formats for audiences at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to use data storytelling to design executive level communications from analysis results to meet stakeholder needs
  • Excellent computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and data analysis languages such as SQL and Python
  • Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with key business leaders/partners throughout the organization to drive results
  • Ability to adapt complexity of analysis for self and staff to fit required timelines and troubleshoot complex problems independently
  • Additional data software or programming languages
  • Experience Using Microsoft Copilot Or Other Artificial Intelligence Tools

  • In-Office Collaboration: We are a client-centric, relationship-based business. Working together, in-person, is foundational to how we achieve results. Our employees work in the office at least four (4) days per week, with flexibility to work from home one (1) day per week. Some roles may require additional in-office time or different in-office expectations, and specific requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.
  • Base Pay Salary: The estimated base salary for this role is $122,400 - $168,300 / year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
