What You Will Do
- Lead the enterprise-wide HRIS strategy and roadmap, including system selection, implementation, optimization, and ongoing operations (e.g., Workday, Applause, LMS, compensation tools).
- Oversee day-to-day HR systems operations, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Partner with IT and vendors to manage system upgrades, integrations, and enhancements.
- Build and lead a team of HRIS and people analytics professionals.
- Develop and execute a people analytics strategy aligned to business priorities.
- Deliver workforce insights through dashboards, predictive models, and ad hoc analyses (e.g., attrition, engagement, performance, workforce planning).
- Translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives for executive audiences.
- Establish and maintain data governance frameworks, including data definitions, quality standards, and access protocols.
- Serve as the Human Capital data steward, ensuring consistent, accurate, and ethical use of employee data.
- Act as a strategic advisor to Human Capital and business leaders on leveraging systems and data for decision‑making.
- Lead change management efforts related to new system implementations, process redesigns, and analytics adoption.
- This is a hybrid position requiring the employee to be within 50 miles of Guidehouse office. Priority will be given to candidates located in the greater Washington, D.C, Chicago, San Antonio, and Atlanta marketplaces.
What You Will Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- 12+ years of progressive experience in HRIS, HR operations, or people analytics, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Deep expertise in Workday highly preferred, or a similar enterprise HR platform.
- Proven experience building and scaling people analytics capabilities.
- Strong understanding of data privacy, compliance, and data governance best practices.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
What Would Be Nice To Have
- Master’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- Experience working in a professional services or consulting environment.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Familiarity with statistical or analytical tools (e.g., R, Python, SQL).
The annual salary range for this position is $197,000.00-$328,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
