GatherGov ( ) is the modern intelligence platform for real estate entitlements. We process thousands of hours of local government meetings daily to surface entitlement risk, development pipeline signals, and early project visibility for owners, developers, and general contractors.
We’re a deeply technical team with national coverage, a world-class product, and marquee customers already live. We’re now looking for a founding commercial leader to co-build and own growth and revenue alongside the CEO.

The Role
Location: NYC (in-person/hybrid)
Experience: 6–8+ years
Compensation: Meaningful ownership
This is a true Head of Growth & Sales role. You will own the commercial function end-to-end — from defining customer acquisition strategy, ICPs, and core use cases, to shaping pricing and packaging, to personally closing early enterprise customers.
You’ll work directly with the CEO and product team and play a central role in shaping how a new category of real estate intelligence is brought to market.
What You’ll Own
- GTM & growth strategy: driving customer acquisition, conversion, and revenue growth through innovative strategies
- Sales: ICP definition, segmentation, use cases, messaging, and expansion paths
- Pricing & packaging: design and iterate monetization across data, intelligence, and workflow products
- Revenue execution: run full-cycle sales (prospecting → discovery → demo → pilot → close) for early and mid-market / enterprise customers
- Growth experiments: outbound motions, pilots, lighthouse customers, and feedback loops that inform product and positioning
- Sales foundation: early playbooks, CRM setup, pipeline management, forecasting, and core KPIs
- Product partnership: act as the voice of the customer, influencing roadmap, UX, and commercial readiness
- External face of the company: represent GatherGov with customers, partners, and the broader real estate ecosystem
Ideal Background
- 6–8+ years in B2B GTM / sales with experience
- Builder mindset. Energized by 0-to-1 work and have experience working in early stage startups
- Experience selling data, analytics, or intelligence products
- Strong familiarity with real estate stakeholders
- Comfortable navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
