In this role, you'll be the front-line expert in ticketing operations, supporting your team, resolving issues with ease, and helping keep the show running smoothly. this is your ticket to something extraordinary. The starting pay rate: $19.00 / Per Hour The day-to-day: Assist ticket office supervisors with event-day operations, to include testing ticket scanners, verifying venue seating setup, sending reports, and coordinating artist will-call tickets Manage department email correspondence, resolve guest inquiries following service standards, monitor voicemail and phone systems, and update phone scripts as needed Ensure event ticketing representatives are trained and have the tools and knowledge to sell and process ticket orders while providing prompt and polite guest service Help event ticketing representatives and guests with changes or cancellations to ticket orders, troubleshoot problems with secondary resale platforms, assist with customer service, and guest service recovery The ideal candidate: Must be 18 years of age or older One (1) year of previous ticketing, cash handling, or related experience Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays The perks & benefits: Free meals in our employee dining room Free parking on and off-shift at all MGM Resorts properties Health & income protection benefits (for eligible employees) Professional and personal development opportunities through employee programs and network groups Wellness incentive programs to help you stay healthy physically and mentally Access to company hotel, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment discounts
