Sales Assistant
ALL Erection & Crane Rental Corp., located in Independence, is seeking a Sales Assistant with solid administrative and general office skills to support the Sales Department. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a comprehensive benefits package in our corporate headquarters. Essential Functions: Updates Sales Manager by consolidating, analyzing, and forwarding daily action summaries; preparing and forwarding sales tracking reports. Marketing and sales support for outside rental and retail sales staff as it relates to our services. Operate a multi-line phone to answer, screen and forward calls, providing information, taking messages, and scheduling appointments. Perform administrative support tasks such as proofreading, transcribing handwritten information, and operating calculators or computers to work with records, invoices, and other documents. Maintains customer database by inputting customer profile and updates; preparing and distributing monthly reports. Prepares sales presentations by compiling data; developing presentation formats and materials. Transmit information or documents to colleagues or customers, using computer, mail, or facsimile machine. Schedule appointments and maintain and update appointment calendars. Respond to questions from internal and external customers via phone and email. Provide information about the company such as location of branches, hours of operation, or services provided. Process and prepare memos, correspondence, or other documents. Improves sales support, and job knowledge by attending training sessions. Ability to take photos of used equipment being sold. Other duties as assigned. Skills and Experience Requirements: Experience with heavy construction equipment is a plus Able to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines Must be able to work 40 hours a week and overtime as needed Able to sit for long periods of time Able to use phone, computer and other office equipment Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
