Position: D365 Finance & Operations Solution Architect Location: Bothell, WA Duration: 2 Months Job Type: Temporary/Contract Work Type: Hybrid
The
D365 Finance & Operations Solution Architect
is responsible for
end-to-end solution definition, design, and governance
for
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&O / F&SCM)
implementations in
healthcare provider, payer, and life-sciences environments
across the
USA and India .
The role combines
architecture leadership, domain consulting, and delivery oversight
to ensure
compliant, scalable, and high-quality solutions
for
multi-entity, multi-country healthcare organizations .
Key Responsibilities Own the
overall D365 F&O / F&SCM solution architecture
for healthcare clients including:
Hospitals Clinic networks Diagnostics organizations Pharmacies Payers Med-device and life-sciences companies
Covering modules such as
Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Projects, and Shared Services .
Translate
healthcare business requirements
(patient care operations, clinical supply chain, pharmacy, insurance/payer operations, CapEx/OpEx control) into
scalable D365 F&O solution designs , including:
Integrations Data architecture Security architecture
Lead
discovery and fit-gap workshops
with clinical, operations, finance, and IT stakeholders across
USA and India , ensuring alignment with
local regulatory, tax, and compliance requirements . Define
environment, deployment, and ALM strategy
for multi-region programs, including localization for:
US GAAP / IRS requirements Indian GST TDS / TCS Statutory financial reporting.
Design and govern
integrations between D365 F&O and healthcare systems , including:
EHR / EMR systems Hospital Information Systems (HIS) Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) Pharmacy systems Insurance / payer systems Healthcare ISVs
Using technologies such as:
DMF (Data Management Framework) Dual-write APIs Azure integration services
Drive
data architecture and migration strategy , including:
Chart of Accounts harmonization Item and master data Vendor and contract data Patient-billing financial data
Ensuring appropriate
controls and anonymization where required .
Define
security architecture, role-based access, and segregation of duties (SoD)
aligned with healthcare compliance requirements, including:
Internal controls Audit requirements Alignment with
HIPAA principles
where financial and operational data intersects with healthcare systems.
Provide
design governance for customizations and extensions , ensuring:
Maximum use of
standard D365 capabilities Use of
ISV solutions where appropriate Alignment with
Microsoft best practices Minimal technical debt.
Act as the
solution authority across the delivery lifecycle , managing:
Design risks Change requests Cross-workstream dependencies (Finance, Supply Chain, Pharmacy, Projects, Integration, Data, Testing).
Support
pre-sales activities for healthcare accounts , including:
Solution proposals RFP/RFI responses Effort estimation Solution walkthroughs Industry-specific demonstrations such as:
Centralized procurement OT/ICU inventory optimization Pharmacy supply workflows.
Serve as a
trusted advisor
to
CFOs, COOs, CIOs, and clinical operations leadership , helping define roadmaps for:
Finance transformation Shared services Procurement consolidation Cost optimization.
Mentor
functional and technical teams across USA and India , building reusable healthcare assets such as:
Process maps Configuration blueprints Data templates Test packs.
Required Experience (13-15 Years)
13-15 years of overall IT / ERP experience , including:
10+ years with Microsoft Dynamics AX or D365 Finance & Operations / F&SCM 5+ years in healthcare or life-sciences industry implementations
3-5 years of experience as a Solution Architect or Senior Solution Architect
on
large multi-entity or multi-country D365 F&O programs . Strong experience with
end-to-end implementations covering :
Finance Procurement Inventory / Warehousing Project Accounting
within healthcare environments such as:
Hospitals Clinic chains Diagnostics networks Healthcare service organizations.
Proven track record supporting
USA and/or India rollouts , including localization for
US and Indian financial and regulatory requirements .
