Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sales Compensation Manager to oversee the administration, configuration, and execution of our sales compensation programs. This role is responsible for ensuring sales pay plans are accurately implemented, maintained, and processed within Workday, while supporting the full lifecycle of compensation operations—from new hire setup to terminations, hierarchy management, and payroll processing. The ideal candidate combines operational precision with strong systems expertise and a deep understanding of compensation plan mechanics. Job Description Responsibilities: Manage the end-to-end administration of sales compensation plans, ensuring plans are accurately implemented and maintained within Workday. Configure and maintain compensation records for new hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations within Workday. Partner with Payroll to ensure accurate and timely commission payments, including validation and reconciliation before payroll submission. Manage production and development databases, including data governance, hierarchy maintenance, calculation logic updates, backups, and user security. Design, develop, and troubleshoot load rules, business rules, and calculation scripts. Support system patches, upgrades, and application migrations . Identify opportunities to improve processes, automation, and data integrity across compensation workflows. Translate approved compensation plans into system configurations, validating calculations, quotas, and commission structures. Ensure accurate eligibility, plan assignment, and effective dating for all sales employees. Lead business testing for system changes and enhancements, drive change management initiatives, and ensure compliance . Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree. 5+ years of experience in sales compensation, sales operations, or incentive compensation administration. Hands-on experience administering compensation in Workday. Strong Analytical and technical skills to continuously improve processes required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Good problem-solving skills, including innovative and creative solutions. Strong understanding of commission structures, quotas, accelerators, and sales incentive plans. Experience managing employee lifecycle compensation changes (new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations). Proven experience coordinating with Payroll on commission payments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Advanced Excel or data analysis skills. The anticipated salary range for this position: $101,000.00 - $152,000.00 Annual The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
