
Sales and Benefits Specialist - WFH

We are looking for a detail-oriented HR Specialist with a heavy emphasis on Payroll Administration. In this role, you won't just be pushing buttons in a system; you will be the bridge between our finance requirements and our employee experience. You will ensure that our team is paid accurately and on time, while acting as the go-to expert for benefits, tax compliance, and payroll-related inquiries.
Salary: $30 - $40 per hour
Shift: First
Work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
Education: No Degree Required
Core Responsibilities
End-to-End Payroll Management:
Execute semi-monthly/monthly payroll cycles for all employees, ensuring 100% accuracy in deductions, bonuses, commissions, and taxes.
Compliance & Reporting:
Stay ahead of federal, state, and local labor laws. Manage year-end reporting (W-2s, 1095-Cs) and conduct regular internal audits.
Benefits Administration:
Oversee enrollment, changes, and terminations for medical, dental, and 401(k) plans. Reconcile monthly insurance billings.
Employee Support:
Act as the primary point of contact for payroll and benefits questions, resolving issues with a high degree of empathy and confidentiality.
Data Integrity:
Maintain the HRIS database, ensuring all employee records (new hires, status changes, and exits) are processed seamlessly.
Process Improvement:
Identify bottlenecks in our current payroll/HR workflow and suggest automated or more efficient solutions.
