POSITION OVERVIEW
The Investor Relations Coordinator supports the planning and execution of LVGEA’s investor events and engagement programs. This role provides logistical coordination, administrative support, and sponsor benefit tracking to ensure high-quality delivery of signature events and smaller investor-facing programs.

Working under the direction of the Vice President of Investor Relations, the Coordinator ensures event details are organized, timelines are followed, and investor experiences are delivered professionally and efficiently. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role ideal for an early-career professional seeking to grow within nonprofit event management and investor engagement.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Event Logistics & Execution Support Assist in coordinating logistics for LVGEA’s signature events, including PERSPECTIVE and State of Economic Development (SOED). Support venue coordination, vendor communication, catering details, A/V logistics, registration setup, seating charts, and run-of-show preparation. Prepare nametags, signage, printed materials, sponsor recognition items, and event supplies. Support on-site event setup, registration management, troubleshooting, and breakdown. Maintain event timelines and task lists to ensure deadlines are met. Assist with post-event follow-up communications and evaluations.
Sponsorship Fulfillment Support Track sponsor benefits and assist in ensuring timely delivery of contractual commitments. Coordinate sponsor logo collection, recognition placements, signage, and digital mentions. Maintain organized sponsorship fulfillment checklists and documentation. Support preparation of invoices and follow-up correspondence.
Program & Investor Engagement Support Coordinate invitations, RSVP tracking, guest lists, and registration systems for smaller investor programs and meetings. Prepare meeting materials and assist with room setup for roundtables, committee meetings, and networking events. Ensure a professional and welcoming experience for investors and guests. Support basic investor engagement tracking in coordination with the VP.
Administrative & CRM Support Enter and update investor participation data in the CRM. Maintain organized electronic filing systems for event documents and contracts. Assist in compiling attendance lists and basic event performance summaries. Support general administrative tasks related to investor relations and programming.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Knowledge Basic understanding of event coordination and nonprofit programming. Familiarity with CRM or registration systems preferred. Understanding of sponsorship logistics a plus.
Skills Strong organizational and time-management skills. Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple deadlines. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Professional demeanor when interacting with investors, vendors, and community partners. Ability to take direction and execute tasks accurately. Comfortable working in fast-paced event environments.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Hospitality, Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience may substitute for formal education.
Professional Experience: 2+ years of progressive experience in operations, investor relations, event management, or business engagement roles. Experience with CRM administration, process documentation, basic graphic design tools, Microsoft office products and data reporting. Familiarity with economic development, nonprofit engagement, or public-private partnerships (preferred).
