Japanese/ Korean /English Trilingual Translator

A semiconductor engineering and construction firm is seeking a Japanese, Korean, and English Trilingual Translator to support communication across U.S., Korean, and Japanese engineer teams at a major semiconductor facility. This role involves document translation, live interpretation, and on-site support within an active industrial/construction environment. The ideal candidate is fluent in all three languages, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with engineers, subcontractors, and project teams.

Translate documents between English, Japanese, and Korean, including technical and project-related materials

Provide live interpretation during meetings with engineers, subcontractors, and client representatives

Provide on-site interpretation within semiconductor construction and manufacturing areas

Create accurate meeting minutes and documentation

Facilitate clear communication between subcontractors and engineering teams

General office duties, including but not limited to handling phone calls, arranging hotel and flight reservations for staff, and preparing reports

Other tasks as assigned, based on operational needs

Working Hours, Working style Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM,with unpaid lunchtime. (35 hours/week)

Occasional local travel to clients or affiliated companies.

Occasional additional hours may be required with advance notice

Working Location Taylor and Roundrock, TX

Salary/Benefit $60,000-$100,000 annually (BOE)

Relocation: Relocation support considered for qualified candidates

Qualifications

Fluent in English, Japanese, and Korean (reading, writing, and speaking)

Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree required

Prior translation and/or interpretation experience

Ability to work safely in active semiconductor project areas

Strong communication and organizational skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer tools

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as needed
