Key Account Manager - Foodservice - Coffee Chains
Reports To:
COO
General Responsibilities:
The following are the key responsibilities of the Key Account Manager, though other duties may be assigned to meet business needs:
Develop and maintain relationships with food service distributors, brokers, and operators to promote and sell our products.
Travel to customer sites to build relationships and promote company products
Prospect new large volume customers and identify opportunities for product placement and distribution.
Develop and manage a broker network
Plan and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and meet company objectives.
Negotiate pricing and promotional activities
Provide product training and support to customers, including conducting product demonstrations and providing technical assistance.
Attend trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to promote our products and services.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitive activity to inform sales strategies and product development.
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities
Work closely with our marketing and product development teams to provide feedback and insights from the field.
Other duties as assigned
Office Equipment and Special Equipment Used:
Cell phone, computer/laptop
Required:
5-years or more experience in Foodservice sales
Familiarity and developed relationships with large operators in Florida
Ability to troubleshoot problems
Knowledge of food safety regulations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
Strong communication, negotiation, presentation and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency in using Gmail & Google Suite Apps (Gmail, Docs, Sheets)
Time management and organizational skills
Detail-oriented and can efficiently multitask
Currently, live or willing to relocate within driving distance to Broward County,
Florida preferred but not required
Preferred:
Currently residing in Florida as you will be meeting with customers in the area.
Education and Experience Required:
College diploma or equivalent and/or related experience and/or training.
Vehicles or Moving Equipment Driven as Part of Job:
Travel will mostly be in the Southeast United States
