
Sales Administrator / Sales Support

Eastern Industrial Automation is a well-established International Industrial Distributor of Mechanical, Automation, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic products, offering a broad range of Engineering Services and System design solutions.
We are currently seeking a Sales Administrator / Sales Support person in Waltham, MA with strong administrative support skills and the desire to collaborate with a hard-working team.
$25-28 / hour based on experience. Hours: Monday through Friday 8am -5pm in our Waltham office.
Essential Functions
Assist in processing and expediting sales orders with accuracy and efficiency.
Complete and manage compliance paperwork for customer accounts and transactions.
Provide administrative support to the sales team, including data entry, document preparation, and follow-up communications.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Contact suppliers, track down parts, expedite orders.
Maintain organized records and contribute to process improvements.
Be a collaborative team player by assisting with warehouse duties (receiving, stocking, packing, shipping, product delivery, etc.) when needed.
Specific Education, Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability
Solid work history.
High School Diploma Required. Additional training, certifications, education a plus.
At least 1-2 years administrative support experience in a busy, fast-paced office.
Strong computer skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
ERP Experience desired, Profit 21 a plus.
Excellent multi-tasking, organizational and communication skills.
Desire to work within a team with a cooperative and positive attitude.
Ability to lift 25 – 50 pounds.
