
Customer Success Account Specialist (Manufacturing)

A day in the life You start your morning reviewing overnight orders, double-checking accuracy, and aligning internal partners so customer commitments are kept. Midday, you’re preparing quotes and proposals—sometimes side-by-side with field sales—while keeping the CRM spotless. By afternoon, you’re expediting a time-sensitive shipment, updating a buyer’s portal for a positive scorecard, and sharing a quick forecast update with leadership. Along the way, you connect engineering, quality, and manufacturing to make sure every promise becomes a delivery.
What you’ll own
Champion Alinabal’s solutions to assigned accounts; deepen relationships with category buyers and stakeholders.
Serve as the primary liaison across customers, quality, engineering, and manufacturing to resolve issues quickly and professionally.
Generate and present quotes/proposals; coordinate order entry and communicate detailed requirements to internal teams.
Review all orders for precision and completeness; provide timely, accurate information to both internal departments and customers.
Proactively expedite orders to meet required delivery dates and customer needs.
Manage scorecards and portals; drive rapid issue resolution to protect and enhance performance ratings.
Coordinate customer quotation activity and keep the CRM database current and accurate.
Monitor account health, analyze performance trends, and contribute sales forecasts.
Collaborate with the SVP of Sales, Marketing, and the Customer Experience Manager to analyze customer data and refine prospecting/sales approaches.
Own CRM best practices and data quality; maintain customer records across ERP and CRM systems.
Travel occasionally to customer sites as needed (+/-10%).
Core strengths
Curious, competitive, collaborative, and coachable.
Comfortable with technical/mechanical product details and engineered solutions (factory production knowledge is a plus).
Fluent in pricing strategies and negotiation.
Proficient with MS Office, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Teams.
Clear, confident communicator—virtually and in person.
Highly organized; able to manage multiple projects in parallel.
Resourceful problem-solver who thinks on their feet.
Previous business and sales experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Experience & education Proven experience in a customer service capacity with a strong customer-first mindset. 5+ years of customer service; BS/BA in a related field preferred.
Work details
Work Environment: Manufacturing floor exposure to industrial equipment, noise, and varying temperatures.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday; overtime as needed.
Travel: Minimal travel may be required for inter-facility coordination.
