Twin Lakes Fire is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Fire Sprinkler Estimator
to join our growing team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and material takeoffs for fire protection systems across commercial, industrial, and institutional projects.
The ideal candidate has experience reviewing construction drawings, performing detailed sprinkler system takeoffs, and working with general contractors to develop competitive bids.
Responsibilities
Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents for fire sprinkler and fire protection systems
Perform detailed
material takeoffs and labor estimates
for fire suppression projects
Prepare and submit competitive bids to general contractors and project owners
Analyze project scope to ensure all required components are included in estimates
Coordinate with design teams, project managers, and operations staff to ensure accurate project planning
Communicate with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing for materials and equipment
Maintain bid tracking and estimating documentation
Assist with value engineering and scope clarification during the bidding process
Support sales and business development efforts by helping secure new projects
Qualifications
Ability to read and interpret
construction drawings and specifications
Knowledge of
NFPA 13 and fire sprinkler system components
preferred
Experience with estimating software and digital takeoff tools
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
NICET certification (or working toward certification)
Experience with
Acumatica, PlanHub, BuildingConnected, or similar platforms
Background in fire protection design, installation, or project management
