Sales & Use Tax Analyst

What you will be doing
Ensure that all tax exemptions have been entered into the system. Daily tax reconciliations Reconcile taxes for hotels & resolve tax issues as they arise Assist with tracking tax payments via monthly log Taxes paid analysis for all hotels Requesting refunds on all overpayments from state/local jurisdictions Gathering information needed for tax audits Assist with balance sheet Assist with business renewals/updating licenses for Sales/Occupancy and Use tax annually. Assisting hotels with any tax issues or questions Special projects as needed The ideal candidate for this position
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent work experience. 1+ years multi-state sales and use tax experience preferred . Strong analytical and computer skills, with an emphasis on MS Excel. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills Ability to multi-task various projects to hard deadlines.
