Peoplesoft Business Analyst

Our client, a large enterprise organization undergoing a major ERP transformation, is seeking experienced PeopleSoft Financials Business Analysts to support and maintain their existing PeopleSoft Financial Management (FSCM) environment during a multi-year transition to Workday. This role is focused exclusively on the Financials side of PeopleSoft (FSCM) and does not involve Human Capital Management (HCM). As internal teams focus on the new ERP implementation, this role will ensure continuity, stability, and functional support for core financial operations within the current PeopleSoft environment. Project Background The organization is in the early stages of a large-scale ERP migration from PeopleSoft to Workday. While the new platform is being implemented, PeopleSoft Financials continues to support daily financial operations. This role will serve as a critical bridge between the legacy PeopleSoft environment and the future Workday platform, ensuring the existing system remains stable and fully supported throughout the transition. Key Responsibilities Provide functional support for PeopleSoft Financials (FSCM) in a live production environment Partner with finance and procurement stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements Support system maintenance, enhancements, and issue resolution across financial modules Assist with testing, documentation, and operational continuity during the ERP transition Troubleshoot functional issues related to financial processes and system workflows Collaborate with technical teams, finance teams, and project stakeholders to ensure effective system support Help maintain stability and reliability of legacy PeopleSoft systems during the ERP implementation Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience supporting PeopleSoft Financials (FSCM) Strong functional expertise in: General Ledger (GL) Accounts Payable (AP) Experience working as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst within ERP environments Experience supporting enterprise financial systems in production Ability to translate business requirements into functional system solutions Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, particularly with finance teams Preferred / Nice to Have Asset Management Experience supporting ERP implementations or system migrations Exposure to Workday Financials Experience working in large enterprise or public sector environments
