B2B commercial recovery/claims-based negotiation.
You will negotiate recoveries with
insurers,
adjusters, contractors, investigators, and commercial entities
on damage/claims-driven files (e.g.,
subrogation/insurance recovery/utility/property damage, liability ), supported by documentation such as demand packages, investigation reports, contracts, and invoices.
Position Summary Burke Moore Law Group (BMLG) is seeking a
Commercial Claims Recovery Specialist (B2B ) to join our growing
Pre-Legal
team. This role is best suited for professionals with backgrounds in s ubrogation, commercial claims, utility/property damage, or other claims-driven B2B recovery.
Candidates must be comfortable managing complex files, negotiating resolutions, and driving recoveries in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage assigned commercial recovery files, including utility damage, insurance recovery, and other B2B claims
Communicate professionally with contractors, insurers, claim adjusters, investigators, and corporate representatives to resolve claims
Review contracts, invoices, investigative reports, and supporting documentation to determine liability and recovery strategy
Negotiate payments, settlements, and resolutions within established authority levels
Accurately document all activity in the firm’s case management system
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to firm policies, state laws, and client guidelines
Maintain strong customer service while driving results and accountability
Qualifications
3–5 years
of experience in
B2B claims-based recovery
(e.g., subrogation, insurance recovery, utility/property damage claims, liability recovery) or comparable negotiation/closing experience
Proven negotiation and closing skills
Strong analytical and problem‑solving ability
Experience interpreting contracts, invoices, and claim documentation
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Experience in a legal, insurance, or recovery‑focused environment preferred
Ability to manage a fast‑paced workload and work independently while collaborating with a team
Professional demeanor and ability to work with a wide range of personalities
AR-only or consumer collections-only experience will not be considered

This is a pre‑legal recovery role (not an attorney position)
Performance‑based incentives may be available
Candidates with sales, negotiation, or closing backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply
Hourly base pay plus uncapped tiered commissions, with a paid training ramp and reduced initial thresholds. Commission eligibility and payment are governed by the firm’s written compensation plan in effect at the time of payment and applicable Georgia and federal law.
