Director of Operations
to join a
Pharmaceutical
company
located in
Audubon, PA
through an
onsite, permanent
position. The
Director of Operations
will focus primarily on overseeing the packaging and maintenance operations by deploying appropriate resources to meet business goals while promoting cGMP compliance, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Provide oversight of daily operations, ensuring achievement of key performance metrics.
Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient packaging of pharmaceutical products while overseeing logistics and warehousing operations across on-site and off-site facilities.
Lead and inspire the operations team to deliver against production schedules with high standards of compliance and professionalism, serving as a key member of the Site Leadership Team.
Collaborate with global counterparts to align processes and drive continuous improvement, while overseeing business projects including Opex initiatives and ERP implementation.
Contribute to the development of plant strategy and vision by introducing innovative ideas and strong leadership.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a similar field; Master’s Degree is preferred
10+ years’ supervisory/leadership experience
10+ years’ experience in an FDA-regulated production environment (either Pharma, Medical Device, Food, etc.)
Ability to manage a large team in a fast-paced environment
Ideal candidates will have confidence paired with a collaborative, grounded mindset, as well as strong communication skills and client-facing experience
Contract Development & Manufacturing Organization (CMO/CDMO) experience is a plus
Preferred:
5+ years’ background as an operations leader, specifically in a pharmaceutical production environment.
Proficient understanding of pharmaceutical ERP systems
Compensation/Schedule
Base Salary: $200,000-220,000/annually, plus 25% annual bonus
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm; ability to be somewhat flexible with hours is ideal
Travel: 10%, primarily internationally to the UK
