ēCO Credit Union, originally Jefferson County Teacher’s Credit Union, was founded in 1939 to serve educators in Jefferson County and their families. Over the years, ēCO has grown and expanded our footprint. While our commitment to educators remains a priority, we are now community chartered, allowing us to serve anyone living, working, worshiping, or attending school in Jefferson, Shelby, Walker, Blount, or Cullman counties.
Role: To assist members with their financial transactions, involving paying and receiving cash and other negotiable instruments.
Essential Functions:
Receives and processes member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals and loan payments; makes transfers as directed by members; opens and maintains member accounts.
Welcomes members and provides excellent member service.
Prerequisites:
One to twelve months of cash handling experience.
A high school diploma or GED.
Ability to work and converse with many different people, while exhibiting a friendly demeanor.
