Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site position based in DeWitt, IA for a Golf Course Superintendent. The Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of golf course maintenance and operations, including turf management, irrigation systems, landscape upkeep, and pesticide application. The role requires planning and implementing maintenance schedules, managing a team of grounds staff, and ensuring the course is maintained to a high standard. Additional responsibilities include budget management, inventory control, and compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Turf Management and Golf Course Management
Experience with Irrigation systems and maintenance
Knowledge of Landscape Maintenance and related practices
Expertise in Pesticide application and compliance with regulations
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent organizational and problem‑solving abilities
Ability to work in outdoor environments with varying weather conditions
Bachelor’s degree in Turfgrass Management, Agronomy, or a related field is preferred
State pesticide applicator license or the ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe
