We are seeking a

Director of Sales

to lead and manage our internal sales organization from our Cranbury, New Jersey headquarters.This position is responsible for building structure, driving accountability, and ensuring consistent execution across all brands, accounts, and channels. This is a true sales leadership and operating role — not an individual contributor or broker position. The ideal candidate is a hands-on sales operator who values in-person leadership, collaboration, and performance accountability in a fast-paced retail environment. Role Overview

The Director of Sales will own the day-to-day management and performance of the internal sales team. This leader will be onsite and embedded with Sales, Operations, Product, and Finance teams, establishing clear operating rhythms and driving predictable, measurable results across a complex retail landscape. Key Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and develop a large internal sales team onsite in Cranbury, NJ

Establish clear goals, quotas, and defined account ownership across brands and channels

Run weekly in-person sales meetings, pipeline reviews, and forecasting sessions

Own forecast accuracy and enforce CRM usage, reporting discipline, and accountability standards

Coach sales leaders and representatives on line reviews, pricing strategy, assortment planning, and margin management

Identify performance gaps and implement corrective action plans

Partner closely with Product, Operations, Finance, and Marketing teams to ensure sales commitments are executable

Support major line reviews and strategic retail initiatives

Drive consistent execution across mass, big-box, and specialty retail channels

Required Experience & Skills

8–15+ years of sales leadership experience in consumer products or consumer electronics

Proven success leading large internal sales teams in a multi-brand, fast-paced environment

Experience selling into big-box and mass retail accounts (e.g., Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Costco, Drug, Dollar, Grocery channels)

Strong command of forecasting, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and sales analytics

Solid understanding of pricing, margins, IMU, and retail calendars

Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills

Strong analytical and operational mindset
