Job Description Position Title: Global Critical Infrastructure Technical Advisor
What you’ll do The Global Critical Infrastructure Technical Advisor provides deep technical expertise and strategic support across the global data center portfolio. This role is instrumental in guiding capital equipment lifecycle decisions, evaluating emerging technologies, and supporting innovation programs focused on energy efficiency, predictive maintenance, and AI-driven infrastructure optimization. The Advisor partners closely with the Global Lead for Change and Maintenance Management to ensure that infrastructure evolution is both technically sound and operationally seamless.
Evaluate next-generation infrastructure technologies for feasibility and deployment.
Support AI-driven initiatives such as:
Energy optimization and load balancing
Condition-based maintenance and predictive analytics
Smart alerting and fault detection
Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to translate operational needs into intelligent solutions.
Act as a technical authority for infrastructure upgrades and critical asset approvals.
Provide guidance on system reliability, maintainability, and lifecycle planning.
Partner with the Global Lead for Change and Maintenance Management to align technical decisions with operational protocols.
Contribute to change control reviews, maintenance strategy development, and post-implementation evaluations.
Support global initiatives aimed at improving infrastructure performance and sustainability.
Contribute to the development and refinement of technical standards, documentation, and best practices.
Review and advise on design packages for infrastructure replacements.
Validate technical solutions against global standards and operational requirements.
Provide risk assessments and recommendations for aging asset replacement.
What you’ll need
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering (or equivalent experience).
10+ years in data center infrastructure, critical systems, or facilities engineering.
Strong understanding of power systems, cooling technologies, and building automation.
Familiarity with AI applications in industrial or infrastructure environments.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
